In addition to my work as a visual artist, I serve as a Nature Mentor at Prairiewood Forest School, where I help guide children in place-based learning and connection to the natural world through quiet noticing, nature journaling, and nature-based art exploration.
This work heavily shapes my creative practice, as both are rooted in observation, curiosity, and a deep respect for the land, others, and self. The textures, palettes, and quiet patterns I encounter outdoors often find their way into my paintings, echoing a dialogue between inner and outer landscapes.
